Success at last - I made the Classic

It was pressure, serious pressure. I can only think of one other time I felt as tight as I did on the third day of our tournament at Oneida. That was the first day of the Bassmaster Classic this year at Hartwell.

All year long, I’ve struggled. But in the end, I had to have two good tournaments to qualify for the Classic. And I did.

I talk about it on this audio blog.

Boyd, as a fellow angler from Alabama, I’d like to say you are fine representative for our state and the profession of fishing. I have some great photo’s of you from the past two Classics and the PAA event and would like to share them with you. I’m a professional photographer who fishes the WBT. I’m on the Reel Grip Pro Staff as well. At our last event on Clark’s Hill the photographer was photographing me. He noticed that I was shoe-less. He questioned me and I said, “Boyd and Skeet can have their fancy shoes, cause my feet need no shoes. It’s how I grew up in Alabama. smile.
